About Final Touch Pyrography

I’m Christina Zacharias-Aji, a pyrographer with a deep-rooted passion for woodworking. Born into a family of carpenters in Syria, I grew up surrounded by the smell of sawdust and learned to appreciate the artistry and intricate craftsmanship involved in working with wood. During the war, wood became more than just a material—it was our source of warmth and comfort, filling our home with the scent of oak, maple, and birch.

After relocating to Canada, helping my dad and husband restart our family’s woodworking business—Final Touch Woodwork and Stonework—has been a rewarding journey. My own space within the workshop is dedicated to creating custom pyrography pieces that celebrate the beauty and warmth of handcrafted wood art.
